- 1/4 tsp salt
- 10 oz white chocolate chips or candy melts
- 1 tsp coconut oil
Add the popcorn to a very large bowl and sprinkle salt over the top. Set it aside. 10 cups popped popcorn, 1/4 tsp salt
Add the white chocolate and coconut oil to a small microwave safe bowl. Microwave in 30 second increments, stirring after each until you can stir it smooth. 10 oz white chocolate chips or candy melts, 1 tsp coconut oil
Pour the white chocolate over the top of the popcorn. Stir with a spatula until the popcorn is evenly coated.
Spread the popcorn onto a cookie sheet lined, with parchment paper.
Let the popcorn set at room temperature until hardened. Break into pieces and enjoy.
- Microwave Slowly - Melt the white chocolate slowly in the microwave in 30 second increments, stirring as much as you can after each. You want to prevent overheating the white chocolate, so don't microwave it more than needed.
- Additional Mix-ins - Add other mixins into the bowl of popcorn before adding the white chocolate, or after spreading the mixture out on the baking pan. Some other favorites are small pretzels, mini marshmallows, m&ms, peanuts, or sprinkles.
