Add the Cream cheese and butter to a large mixing bowl and beat together with a stand mixer or hand mixer until smooth. 8 oz Cream Cheese , 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter
Add in the Cake Mix, egg, and vanilla extract and stir together until you have a thick, but sticky dough. 15 oz Box Yellow Cake Mix, 1 large Egg, 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
Add in 1/2 cup of the sprinkles, and mix them evenly into the dough.3/4 cup Holiday Sprinkles
Cover the dough and place it in the fridge to chill for at least 1 hour.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, and line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Set them aside.
Roll the dough into balls, about 1 and 1/2 inch in size and sprinkle extra holiday sprinkles on the outside of each ball.
Add the powdered sugar to a small bowl and roll each cookie dough ball into the sugar until fully coated. 1/2 cup Powdered Sugar
Place the cookie dough balls onto the prepared cookie sheets, at least 2 inches apart.
Bake the cookies for 9 to 12 minutes, until the edges are set and the tops still look a little soft.
Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 to 10 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to continue cooling.
