Ingredients

  • 12 oz white baking chips (or chopped white chocolate bar)
  • 15 Pretzel Rods
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup crushed candy cane

Instructions

  • Add your white chocolate to a medium sized microwavable bowl and melt in the microwave in 10 second increments. Stir after each until the white chocolate is smooth. 12 oz white baking chips
  • Dip the pretzels into the melted white chocolate, covering them about 1/2 to 2/3 of the way up. Shake off any excess chocolate back into the bowl. Use a spoon to get more chocolate onto the rods as needed to cover them evenly. 15 Pretzel Rods
  • Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone liner.
  • Microwave the chocolate chips in a small microwave safe bowl for 20 seconds. Microwave for additional 20 second increments as needed if needed, until you can stir it smooth. 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • Scoop the melted chocolate into a ziplock bag and seal, removing as much air as you can. Snip a small part off the corner with scissors.
  • Drizzle the chocolate over the white chocolate pretzels.
  • Sprinkle candy cane pieces over the top and sides of the pretzels. 1/2 cup crushed candy cane
  • Allow to set till the chocolate is set, or place in the fridge for about 30 minutes to set quicker.

Notes

  • Tall Glass - Melt the chocolate in a tall glass (make sure it is microwave safe) because it will be easier to dip the bars deeply into the white chocolate.
  • Different Pretzels - Use pretzel sticks, miniature pretzels, or pretzel crisps for a different shape. Use a fork to remove the pretzels from the white chocolate and set them on the parchment.
  • Cut the rods in Half - Split the pretzel rods in half to make twice as many pretzels, and have less extra pretzel that isn't covered, for more optimum flavor.
  • Extra Minty - Add a teaspoon peppermint extract to the white chocolate after microwaving for an extra minty flavor.
