Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet or two with parchment paper or a silicone liner.
Add the butter, egg, and vanilla to a bowl and mix them together for about 2 minutes. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, 1 large egg, 1 tsp vanilla extract
Dump in the jar ingredients and mix until you have a soft cookie dough.
Scoop the cookie dough into 1 to 1.5 TBS portions. Place them on the prepared cookie sheet about 2 inches apart.
Bake the cookies for 8 to 11 minutes, or until the edges just start to turn golden, and the tops are barely set.
Remove the pan from the oven. Leave the cookies on the baking sheet for 5 to 10 minutes to cool, and continue baking. Transfer the cookies to a cooling rack to cool completely, or enjoy warm.
