Hot Chocolate Spoons

These quick and easy homemade hot chocolate spoons are such a fun way to enjoy a warm cup of cocoa. They make such a fun holiday gift, and a rich cup of hot chocolate.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz high quality chocolate (milk chocolate, semi sweet, or dark chocolate works)
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (high quality)

Toppings

  • 1/4 cup dehydrated mini marshmallows
  • 2 TBS chopped candy canes
  • toffee bits
  • Christmas sprinkles

Instructions

  • Melt the chocolate in a microwave safe bowl in 20 to 30-second intervals, stirring after each until the chocolate is melted and smooth. 8 oz high quality chocolate, 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • Dip each spoon into the melted chocolate, and scoop it up into the spoon, spinning it around to coat. Use another spoon to spoon extra chocolate into the cavity of the spoon.
  • Place the spoons onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet.
  • Sprinkle the toppings onto each spoon as desired.1/4 cup dehydrated mini marshmallows, 2 TBS chopped candy canes, toffee bits, Christmas sprinkles
  • Let the chocolate set until it is cooled and hardened.
  • Use the spoons to mix your favorite hot beverages. Make your hot cocoa extra rich with the extra chocolate, or add to a warm cup of coffee.
