I had made the batter 2 days ago and refrigerated. Took awhile to become pliable and had to hand roll each. They look good and will be icing them next.

In reply to jacqui. Cookies always flatten a little after they settle while they cool out of the oven. How did you measure the flour, and Was your dough super soft when making the cookies?

followed the recipe exactly and all the biscuits went flat after coming out of the oven wont be making again

In reply to Mel. They're a drop style cookie so they spread. They're not meant for cut outs. You could try taking your favorite cut out recipe and add peppermint extract and candy cane pieces...
