These Cornflake Christmas Wreaths are a fun, no bake treat that is only a few ingredients and ready in just 20 minutes. They’ll look so festive on your cookie trays, and taste just like a Rice Krispie treat but with a crunchier, cornflake twist. They’re a classic Christmas treat that kids and adults both love!

These Cornflake Christmas Wreaths are made with a gooey marshmallow mixture, like you’d find in our peppermint rice krispie treats, and cornflake cereal (of course). They’re shaped into wreaths and decorated with red candies for a super fun Christmas dessert.
My version of these uses just the right amount of melted marshmallows so the wreaths hold together without being too sticky. A dash of green food coloring makes them super fun, and cheery for the Christmas season.

Why You’ll Love These
- Super Festive: These look like mini Christmas wreaths with their green color and cinnamon “holly berries” to add a fun look to any Christmas platter.
- Quick and Easy: These are no bake, only a few ingredients, and ready in less than 20 minutes. Your hands may get a little sticky 😉 but these are the perfect easy dessert to add to your holiday plans.

Ingredients Needed
This is a quick overview of some of the ingredients you’ll need for this Cornflake Christmas Wreath Cookies Recipe. Specific measurements and full recipe instructions are in the printable recipe card below.
- Salted Butter: If you’re using unsalted butter add a dash of salt to the marshmallow mixture.
- Mini Marshamallows: They melt nice and evenly and make the perfect gooey mixture to hold the cornflakes together
- Vanilla Extract: Adds a little extra flavor to the marshallows
- Green Food Coloring: Use a gel food coloring for the best results.
- Cornflake Cereal: The perfect crunchy cereal base.
- Red Cinnamon Candies: If you don’t like these, or can’t find them you can use mini red M&Ms instead.
How to make Cornflake Wreaths
Step 1: Make the Marshmallow Mixture. Melt the butter over medium low in a large pot. Add in the marshmallows and stir until they’re melted into the butter. Add in the vanilla, and food coloring.
Step 2: Add the Cereal. Gently fold in the cereal until its evenly coated with the marshmallow mixture.
Step 3: Make Wreaths. Drop spoonfuls of the cereal mixture onto a piece of parchment paper. Use your fingers to press a hole into the middle of the mounds, sticking one finger in the middle and spreading it outward. Reshape the out of the wreaths to make them more circular as needed.
Step 4: Add the Red Candies. Add a few red candies into the wreaths before the marshmallow is set. I like to do one to two bunches of three to make it look like holly berries. Sprinkle with white ball sprinkles if desired.
